Photo Guidelines
Every photo on CS is reviewed before it appears on your profile. These guidelines explain what we accept and what we don't.
What's allowed
- A recent, clear photo of yourself
- Your face must be clearly visible
- One person per photo, unless partners or a couple
- You must be the subject of the photo and own or hold the rights to it
- Basic cropping
- Subtle brightness or contrast adjustments
What will be rejected
Photos containing any of the following will not be approved for display:
- Photos where your face is not clearly visible
- Photos of body parts, torsos, or other partial shots without a face
- Photos of another person, celebrity, public figure, or fictional character
- Stock photos or images you do not own or have the right to use
- Photos of minors (anyone under 18)
- Computer-generated, AI-generated, or digitally synthesised images of people
- Text overlays, watermarks, usernames, or logos
- Decorative borders or frames
- Collage or multi-image layouts
- Stickers, emoji, or graphic elements added over the photo
- Filters that significantly alter your appearance or obscure your face
- Group photos used as your profile photo
- Sexually explicit content
Non-sexual social nudity in a naturism or nudism context is permitted exclusively in premium albums, which require a premium membership. It is not permitted on public profile photos. Premium album photos are reviewed under the same process as profile photos before they become visible to recipients.
Consequences of violations
- A photo that does not meet these standards will not be approved and will not appear on your profile.
- Repeated violations may restrict your ability to upload photos.
- Severe or repeated violations may lead to account suspension.
